Punch Plate (also known as perforated plate) is ideal for highly abrasive materials. Punch Plate will hold up to the high impact of large rock.

Openings can be staggered to prevent material from riding the bar, and tapered to prevent blinding.

Material thickness can be customized, up to one inch. Protect screen support frame with customized blanked out areas.

A common application is on scalping screens, after raw materials have passed through primary crushers.

What to Know:

Punch Plate is heavy. Punch Plate has a lower open area than woven wire screen media. Unified can manufacture a pattern to meet your specifications – straight or staggered

Use Punch Plate on the feed end of the screen to take the brunt of the impact. And use Unified’s woven wire cloth on panels further down the feed and on lower screen decks to maintain the highest open area for maximum production.
